Shock Absorber Leash | Double Ended - Turquoise

Product description

THE NEXT GENERATION OF SHOCK-ABSORBING DOG LEASHES

Introducing a highly sprung bungee leash designed to naturally absorb any sudden shocks caused by your dog. This leash includes two carabiners and has been tested for high-intensity pulling power, making it a very strong, double-ended connecting leash.

SUPER SOFT & PAIN-FREE

This leash is both durable and soft. It effectively absorbs tension between you and your dog, reducing strain and shock to your pet while providing more freedom. This design helps alleviate discomfort in your dog's neck and back, whilst helping your own body out too.

SUITABLE FOR SMALL TO LARGE BREEDS AND DOUBLE-ENDED USE

Made with built-in high-elasticity latex, this leash is excellent for both extension and retraction, with a low tendency for material deformities. The outer layer is crafted from sturdy nylon. With this leash, you can easily walk two dogs without the hassle of needing separate leashes.

Customer Reviews

Overall rating: 4.7 / 5 from 10 reviews.

Fantastic lead, the double clip is brilliant and has helped massively with my boys pulling on his harness when he's over excited and it's great quality, always recommend bully billows to anyone who will listen! Also matches his collar and harness so that's a bonus 😂

Customer photo review of Zero Shock Lead | With Handle & Shock Absorber - Turquoise v2.0

The lead is well made - what we have all come to expect from this brand. I’m happy with the comfort of the lead too. The problem I have is that my dogs pull (my fault). This lead is elasticated and so I don’t have the control over the dogs that I’d like. If they decide to lunge (if they smell something) they can pull about 5ft away from me. So, it isn’t my go-to lead for control purposes. If you have dogs that don’t pull then this is an excellent option but for me, I need a bit more from my lead. Overall it’s a good lead. Like I said - well made and comfy to use.

FAQs

How to put a slip lead on a dog

To put a slip lead on your dog, create a loop and slide this over your dog’s head, positioning it just behind their ears. Gently pull on the lead to ensure it’s snug but not too tight, and adjust the rubber stopper so that it’s secure around your dog’s neck. This can provide better control during walks without choking your dog.

Do dogs have to be on a lead?

Dogs should be on a lead in certain areas, including roads, parks, beaches and children’s play areas. Your local council might also have rules for specific places where dogs should be on a lead. However, even in dog parks and fields, it’s important that they are kept under control and that you have a lead on-hand for safety and compliance with local laws.

What is the best lead for dogs that pull?

If you’re struggling with a dog that pulls, having the right lead can make all of the difference. Our training slip leads provide more control without hurting or choking your dog, while our Combat clip leads are a popular choice due to the soft handle that’s comfortable for your hands. Make sure that your lead works well with your chosen collar or harness, which are also important factors when it comes to dogs who pull.

How long should a lead be?

The length of a lead really depends on the situation. A standard length lead (1.2-1.8m) is great for training as well as providing control in busy areas. We also have a Traffic Handle Lead for keeping your dog safe when walking near busy roads. For more freedom on walks, longer leads (up to 10m) allow your dog to explore whilst ensuring they are safely connected to you.
