The chest measurement of your dog, or the girth, is the first measurement you’ll need to take. This can be taken by placing the measuring tape around the widest part of your dog’s torso, usually just behind the front legs.

The next measurement should be taken around the lower part of your dog’s neck, simply measure the widest part at the base of the neck as this is where the harness is going to sit. This size chart is based on min-max measurements.

Product description

Lightweight Comfort. Ready for Every Adventure.

Make everyday walks more comfortable and manageable with the BullyBillows Anti-Pull Hurricane Harness Lighter | With Handle. Designed for dogs of all sizes, from XS to XL, this lightweight, versatile harness combines durable construction, multiple leash attachment points and a practical grab handle to support everything from daily walks to training sessions.

Whether you're navigating busy streets, exploring the outdoors or working on loose-leash walking, the Hurricane Harness Lighter gives you flexible options for handling your dog.

Lightweight Design. Everyday Comfort.
Built for regular use, the Hurricane Harness combines robust Ripstop material with soft, odour-resistant Neoprene lining. The lightweight construction helps keep your dog's walking gear comfortable, while the carefully selected materials are designed to withstand the demands of everyday adventures.

Hypalon reinforcement in high-stress areas adds durability where it's needed most, helping the harness stand up to regular use.

Dual Leash Attachment Points for Flexible Handling
With front and rear attachment points, you can adapt the harness to suit your dog's walking needs. The front D-loop can help redirect your dog's movement and assist with managing pulling, while the rear attachment offers a conventional leash connection for everyday walks.

For dogs that pull, the front attachment can be a useful part of loose-leash training when combined with consistent, positive training techniques.

Integrated Handle for Closer Control
When you need to guide your dog more closely, the built-in handle provides a convenient grip. It's particularly useful when navigating obstacles, moving through busy areas or helping your dog through situations where closer handling is appropriate.

Easy to Fit. Built for the Outdoors.
Getting ready for a walk is simple, thanks to clips on both sides of the harness that make putting it on and taking it off more convenient.

The closed-cell base helps repel water, while the 3M™ reflective strips improve visibility in low-light conditions. Together, these practical features make the Hurricane Harness Lighter a versatile option for walks throughout the year.

Hardware Options
Hardware varies by colourway and edition. Depending on the version selected, the Hurricane Harness is available with stainless steel hardware or lightweight aluminium hardware on Two Tone and Special Edition models. Please check the individual product listing for the exact hardware supplied.

Väldigt bra sele. Bra material. Bra passform. Syns bra i orange både i skogen och längs vägar. Bra med handtag på ryggen. Bra med två rejäla fästpunkter, en fram och en på ryggen. Snygg.

Hello, I received the harness and, like all your products, I love it, and so does my dog. For me, you have no competition; you're the best. Your products are sturdy, high-quality, well-suited to dogs, and above all, have an unparalleled and recognizable design that sets them apart from your competitors. In short, I've been a customer for four or five years and am more than satisfied. I love your products and would be proud to become a brand ambassador if it were possible. In any case, I will continue to talk about your brand to everyone I know and meet on walks. Thank you for all 🙏

My Rottie in orange? 🧡 A total head-turner! 🐕‍🦺 ✨️ This light orange harness looks amazing on my female Rottie. Seriously, all Rottweilers should be mandated to wear orange! She always caught people's attention, but with this harness, she is an even bigger head-turner than before! I’m amazed by how beautifully the colour matches the rusty markings on her coat while creating a high contrast to her black coat at the same time, giving her the proud, authoritative look of an elite rescue or working dog. There is just something in the way she moves now that commands attention wherever we go. Beyond looking great, the harness offers perfect control. It manages her immense strength effortlessly, turning our walks into a graceful walk. A perfect blend of beautiful style and great functionality!🐾

    FAQs

What makes a good dog harness?

A good harness fits snugly without restricting movement, spreads pressure across the chest and shoulders instead of the throat, and has adjustment points that actually work for your dog's shape - not just a "one size fits most" guess. Solid hardware, comfortable padding, and a design suited to how your dog actually walks is what separates a great harness from a flimsy one.

    Are harnesses better for dogs?

For most dogs, we recommend walking them with a harness - especially if they’re prone to pulling. This minimises strain on their neck (and the chance of them slipping out and running away), but a well-fitted collar can be fine for short outings or smaller breeds.

Harness or collar? A quick guide.

    Harnesses

    ✅ Better For Pullers
    ✅ Less Neck Strain
    ✅ More Secure, Better Control

    Collars

    ✅ Convenient for shorter walks
    ✅ Useful for ID tags
✅ Fast to put on your pup
You can vary using a collar and a harness depending on the activity. For longer walks, meeting other dogs, or if your dog is a larger breed, a harness is recommended when you’re leaving the house. A collar is plenty if you have a smaller, well-trained dog, if you need something for ID purposes, or if you need to act fast and put a lead on your dog.

Whichever you choose, make sure you choose the right size to make sure your dog is comfortable and safe.

REMEMBER: Use our dog harness/collar size charts, specific to the harness/collar you are considering, to find the best one for your dog - you can find these on our product pages.

How should a dog harness fit?

Your dog’s harness should fit snug, not tight. You should be able to slide two fingers flat under any strap, but no more than that - any looser and your dog could wriggle out, any tighter and you'll cause rubbing. Check the fit around the neck, chest and belly, and recheck after a groom, a growth spurt, or any change in weight. Our size guide on the product page is the best place to start if you're not sure.

What are the types of harnesses?
    • Step-in: quick and fuss-free for dogs who hate things going over their head.
    • Anti-pull (front-clip): redirects pulling back toward you - ideal while you're working on loose-lead walking.
    • Y-shaped like our slip on: follows the natural line of the shoulders for totally unrestricted movement.
    • Boomerang: a secure, snug fit that's brilliant for escape artists.
    • Weight & fitness: built for structured exercise, adding light resistance for dogs building muscle or burning energy.
Step-in: quick and fuss-free for dogs who hate things going over their head.
    • Tri-Harness: three points of adjustment for a genuinely tailored fit as well as 3 clips for full control.
Which breeds are Bullybillows harnesses for?

All of them, honestly. Our range is built around the realities of specific breeds - from giant guardian breeds like Cane Corsos who need serious strength and control, to sensitive sighthounds like Greyhounds who need a snug, escape-proof fit, right through to Staffies, Labradors, Cockapoos and everyone in between. Wherever your dog sits on that spectrum, there's a BullyBillows harness made for them.

How to stop my dog being scared of putting the harness on

Slow down and make it boring. Let your dog sniff and investigate the harness first, pair it with treats and praise, and build up gradually - clip it on for a few seconds, treat, take it off, repeat. Avoid forcing it over their head if they're hesitant; a step-in style is often far less intimidating for nervous dogs. A few short, positive sessions will get you there quicker than one long battle ever will.
