Billowthane® by BullyBillows Recall Lead

Are you looking for an alternative to leather without the negatives? This lead is not only vegan but extremely durable and 100% waterproof. In the event of grabbing this lead in an emergency situation, this bespoke material avoids any friction burns that may occur.

This 10m Tracking or Training Line is designed to make life easy for both dog and handler. Curated from our unique own branded material which boasts all the properties and functionality of leather but without being absorbent or prone to rot. With a smooth wipe clean surface, this material guarantees a greater tear resistance. The tracking line has enough rigidity but is supple enough to avoid tangling as well as being manageable and easy to handle. Far lighter than similar material of the length, at 10m long and 1.5cm in width, this lead is the perfect recall training tool.

This lead is perfect when we want Affe to have a little more freedom while still keeping him safely connected to us 🖤 The 10m length gives him so much space to explore, and being waterproof makes it especially handy for outdoor adventures!

    Customer photo review of Billowthane® Recall Leash - 10m | Waterproof & Anti-Rust - Matte Black | Series 2

I really love the recall leash. My dog has a lot of freedom without me giving up control (he’s 9 months so he can be really stubborn haha). Nothing sticks to it and it really is suuuuper easy to clean. He walks it through the mud, rain and into puddles of water, and after the walk we clean the leash in 10 minutes, clean and dry. I really love it!

Training lead came when it should of and is very well made and easy to clean would of been nice if it had a carry bag as its 15 mtrs long and as i walk my dog to the field on another BB lead i end up carrying it but saying that it works well and is great for recall training and keeping a very friendly dog close to me and away from others

    Customer video review of Billowthane® Recall Lead - 10m | Waterproof & Anti-Rust - Matte Black | Series 2

What can I say, you guys never disappointed, absolutely perfect longline for this type of walk. My boy always picks up scents and tries to follow them. This line allows him to go a bit further on this walk and for me to do some training with him. Since having it he is now learning to stay close to me when off lead at times 🙂 its a great length, made well and easy to clean ❤

    FAQs

How to put a slip lead on a dog

To put a slip lead on your dog, create a loop and slide this over your dog’s head, positioning it just behind their ears. Gently pull on the lead to ensure it’s snug but not too tight, and adjust the rubber stopper so that it’s secure around your dog’s neck. This can provide better control during walks without choking your dog.

Do dogs have to be on a lead?

Dogs should be on a lead in certain areas, including roads, parks, beaches and children’s play areas. Your local council might also have rules for specific places where dogs should be on a lead. However, even in dog parks and fields, it’s important that they are kept under control and that you have a lead on-hand for safety and compliance with local laws.

What is the best lead for dogs that pull?

If you’re struggling with a dog that pulls, having the right lead can make all of the difference. Our training slip leads provide more control without hurting or choking your dog, while our Combat clip leads are a popular choice due to the soft handle that’s comfortable for your hands. Make sure that your lead works well with your chosen collar or harness, which are also important factors when it comes to dogs who pull.

How long should a lead be?

The length of a lead really depends on the situation. A standard length lead (1.2-1.8m) is great for training as well as providing control in busy areas. We also have a Traffic Handle Lead for keeping your dog safe when walking near busy roads. For more freedom on walks, longer leads (up to 10m) allow your dog to explore whilst ensuring they are safely connected to you.
