The neck measurement should be taken around the lower part of your dog’s neck, simply measure the widest part at the base of the neck as this is where the collar is going to sit. This size chart is based on min-max measurements.

The original BullyBillows 5cm Combat Collar is the first collar of it's kind to be curated in the world. This collar is equipped with triple-stitched nylon, a secure 6mm width Stainless Steel D Loop and a specially crafted bespoke clip for quick release and lock.

Our clips have been through an extensive pressure testing phase which will give you peace of mind when walking your furry friend. The clip must be opened by pressing both levers on each side at the same time to eradicate the clip opening when not intended to (for added security).

For ultimate control and peace of mind, we have also included a double-stitched handle which is perfect in emergency situations. The internal layer of the collar is lined with Neoprene, which is odourless, water resistant and comfortable to worn all day to avoid your dogs fur being rubbed which can occur with other branded collars.

This collar can easily be adjusted in size simply by threading the nylon through the metal adjuster to extend or shorten the size.

This collar is suitable for daily use on any breed and used also used profoundly with professional dog handlers, police dogs, military and security dogs.

I bought the 5cm collar with handle and rated clip for my staffy as he had broken 2 previous collars and 2 harnesses I don’t think he’ll be breaking this in a hurry because that metal clip is solid I also purchased a Id tag which sits on the collar and looks great I also purchased a training lead that you can assemble it to fit round your waist or over your shoulder so when he pulls it’s not jolting your arm and I like that it has a clip each end so I can take my neighbours dog out with us overall we really like the stuff I’ve bought he’s just waiting for his large blanket

What is the best dog collar?

The best dog collar really depends on the breed, size and activity level of your dog. Slip-on collars are great to assist training your dog that pulls, whereas a Combat collar is perfect for everyday use and comes in various thicknesses, from 2.5cm for smaller breeds to 5cm for XL breeds. How tight should a dog collar be?

Similar to harnesses, a dog collar should be snug but not too tight. We’d recommend being able to fit two fingers between the collar and your dog’s neck - if you can fit more than two fingers, the collar may be too loose and could slip off. If you can’t fit two fingers, it might be too tight for your dog causing discomfort and potentially breathing difficulties.

Do dogs have to wear collars?

It’s a legal requirement for dogs to wear collars with ID tags when in public. The tag needs to display your name and address to help reunite you and your dog if they ever get lost. We know that a lot of owners prefer using harnesses, but a collar and ID tag are essential to comply with UK law when you’re out in public, so make sure you’ve got both on if needs be.

How do you measure a dog collar?

To measure a dog collar, wrap a flexible measuring tape around the base (the lower sections) of your dog’s neck whilst leaving enough room to fit two fingers in between. A lot of collars are adjustable, which is ideal for a puppy as you can simply extend the collar as they grow into it.
