Slip Training Leash | Anti Pull & No Choking - Red

Product description

The lead everyone is talking about. You in?

Welcoming our latest design - an anti-tangle slip lead which is rigid enough while walking your dog but supple enough to move freely. As your dog moves in different directions, the lead will not tangle as the bespoke swivel mechanism works with your dogs movement rather than against to avoid the very common 'tangling lead' situation we have all experienced.

Our bespoke rubber stopper which locks in position, means that once you have set the position of the rubber stopper on your lead to fit around your dogs neck and head, it will not move, allowing you to gain greater control of your dog.

  1. Easy and Convenient. Great for crate transfer, potty breaks and training, no collar or harness needed.
  2. One size fits ALL types of breeds.
  3. Firmly weaved Nylon for maximum quality & durability.
  4. 1.2 Metre (Length) x 1.2cm (Diameter)
  5. Bespoke rubber band to eliminate the rope becoming loose & limp

Customer Reviews

Overall rating: 4.8 / 5 from 58 reviews.

My Jack Russell used to give me headaches during walks with his pulling and reactivity. When I put the slip lead on his head for the first time it was like magic. I enjoy our walks now and so does he.

Really pleased with the lead. The handle is so comfortable and love the design so that it doesn’t get twisted up. This has really helped my dog from not pulling. Really rate this product.

Slip Lead | Anti-Pull & Anti-Choking Training Lead - Red

Mika's a strong boy and I needed extra control for traffic and other dogs. The handle is so comfortable and the rubber stopper is very secure. Using as a secondary leash but could use it alone for going to the car and back and grooming!

Slip Lead | Anti-Pull & Anti-Choking Training Lead - Red

The lead is a strong, good quality lead, my dog is strong so i want to feel confident it will not break ( unlike the previous one) which i was willing to pay the money and have bought a 2nd one.

the toggle is a great improvement on previous leads and we can keep the lead fitted in optimum position on dogs neck which helps enhance loose leash walking. the swivel clip on the handle is brilliant too :)

Customer video review of Slip Lead | Anti-Pull & Anti-Choking Training Lead - Red

As a professional dog trainer/walker I've tried all the leads/anti-pull devices under the sun. Most slip leads do a job to a point but the leather stoppers wear away double quick. The leash as a result slids down the dogs neck and is no longer effective. The rubber stopper on the bully billows is beyond top draw. Love the leash and have already recommend to my clients. Well done guys. 👏

Customer photo review of Slip Lead | Anti-Pull & Anti-Choking Training Lead - Red

An excellent lead, sturdy and strong rope, a nice sized and comfy to hold handle (I've noticed that lots of slip leads, particularly the cheaper ones seem to have massive handles that slip off and over the hand and arm and, as such don't feel safe when walking a dog, but not this one, this feels safe and secure) with 360° swivel which is a fantastic feature that greatly reduces how much the lead gets tangled when the dog is doing dog things and a vibrant colour that really pops all equate to a quality product. One thing, the rubber stopper, it's a decent stopper, but how cool would it be if the stopper was the BullyBillows logo?! ;)

FAQs

How to put a slip lead on a dog

To put a slip lead on your dog, create a loop and slide this over your dog’s head, positioning it just behind their ears. Gently pull on the lead to ensure it’s snug but not too tight, and adjust the rubber stopper so that it’s secure around your dog’s neck. This can provide better control during walks without choking your dog.

Do dogs have to be on a lead?

Dogs should be on a lead in certain areas, including roads, parks, beaches and children’s play areas. Your local council might also have rules for specific places where dogs should be on a lead. However, even in dog parks and fields, it’s important that they are kept under control and that you have a lead on-hand for safety and compliance with local laws.

What is the best lead for dogs that pull?

If you’re struggling with a dog that pulls, having the right lead can make all of the difference. Our training slip leads provide more control without hurting or choking your dog, while our Combat clip leads are a popular choice due to the soft handle that’s comfortable for your hands. Make sure that your lead works well with your chosen collar or harness, which are also important factors when it comes to dogs who pull.

How long should a lead be?

The length of a lead really depends on the situation. A standard length lead (1.2-1.8m) is great for training as well as providing control in busy areas. We also have a Traffic Handle Lead for keeping your dog safe when walking near busy roads. For more freedom on walks, longer leads (up to 10m) allow your dog to explore whilst ensuring they are safely connected to you.
